William Douglas Photography is a partnership with Stylist Fiona Tillett, and William Douglas Photographer. Relocating his studio from London to Gloucestershire a few years ago, William expanded his Room Set and Interior specialisation to encompass a broader commercial range, to include, Still Life, Food, Location and People Photography.
The Studio is a Victorian Button Mill with plenty of daylight streaming in though large windows. Surrounded by water, and with views overlooking the Cotswold escarpment, makes this an enjoyable yet quirky environment to work in.
Shooting primarily on a high resolution digital back, he also enjoys furthering his skills in image manipulation, and also has the facility to print large format archival quality images. Lighting is still the area that William gets great satisfaction from, whilst making sure that the photograph communicates and works for, and beyond the clients expectations. The Image Works.
Fiona Tillett trained as a Cordon Bleu cook, and this together with several years in the antique business followed by fashion retail, where assigned to the press office, she moved into photography to train as a Stylist, previous experiences proving invaluable.
Working in London on many varied projects from brochure and catalogue to advertising and editorial, which included a four year project for the Time Life Good Cook Series assisting a team of internationally renowned chefs.
This training was not wasted as the famed breakfast bacon buttie and luncheons tend to go down very well with our clients. Not first on their list of requirements but close. If you are vegetarian, no problem we cater for you as well.
It was not until a move to the West Country that she met and started working with William.
